Trust Celebrates International Nurses Day 2016


“Today, on International Nurses Day we would like to thank all our Nursing staff across the Trust for the fantastic work you do every day."

A celebration event was held this morning in the Innovation Centre, Ulster Hospital which was live streamed to Downpatrick and Lisburn sites.

Nicki Patterson, Director of Nursing opened the celebrations and thanked everyone who made the day happen. Professor Tanya McCance then discussed the importance of Person-Centred Care and the audience were encouraged to participate and discuss opinions.
