Steps To Cope is a confidential structured support service for young people aged 11 - 18 who are dealing with parental alcohol or drug misuse.

The service offers one to one flexible support and self help advice is available 24/7 on the website stepstocope.co.uk

Approximately 1 out of 11 people are affected by a parent who is using alcohol or other drugs, this is called 'Hidden Harm' because it is often covered up and not talked about as young people and their families can feel trapped, isolated and powerless.

The Steps To Cope service aims to support young people to ensure they are better protected from harm, more resilient and more able to deal with the impact caused by parental alcohol or drug misuse.
