Marcus & Amanda Fund Donate Cuddle Cots to Ulster Hospital

The Marcus and Amanda Memorial Fund recently donated 'Cuddle Cots' to the Ulster Hospital Maternity Unit. The Cuddle Cot is a cooling device placed in the bassinet which allows babies to stay in the room with their parents that little bit longer.

The Fund donated the first cold cot to the Ulster Hospital in February 2012, and since then six hospitals across Northern Ireland have received one each. In addition cosy mattresses were provided to the six neonatal units. To mark the closing of the Marcus & Amanda Memorial Fund, members donated £3000 to each of the six hospitals to buy equipment that is needed.

The South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust would like to extend sincere thanks to The Marcus & Amanda Memorial Fund for their kind donations over the past four years.
