Local dog club donates to Macmillan Health and Wellbeing Service at the Ulster Hospital

The members of the newly formed Ballywalter German Shepherd Dog Club recently donated £100 to the Macmillan Cancer Health & Wellbeing Service based in the Macmillan Information Centre in the Ulster Hospital. The service offers information and support to anyone affected by cancer within the South Eastern Trust.

This money was raised at their first annual awards evening by the members in attendance who chose this charity as it is close to a lot of their hearts due to personal experience or that of their family and friends. The Macmillan Cancer Health & Wellbeing Team would like to thank the Ballywalter German Shepherd Dog Club for their generosity and for choosing them as their first ever charity to donate to.

If you or anyone you know are affected by cancer and would like some information and support please contact the Macmillan Health & Wellbeing Service on 028 9055 3246 or Macmillan.Informationandsupport@setrust.hscni.net
