GRAHAM-Bam Healthcare Partnership raise £2000 for Kiwoko Hospital

GRAHAM- Bam Healthcare Patnership (GBHP) recently presented a cheque of £2000 raised from their Annual GBHP Charity Golf Day to the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust for Friends of Kiwoko Hospital.

GBHP held a charity tournament in September 2018 at Knock Golf Club which supported three charities; Friends of Kiwoko Hospital, Friends of the Cancer Centre and Helping Hand Children’s Hospital. Due to this charity event  £2000 was raised for Friends of Kiwoko Hospital.

Friends of Kiwoko Hospital has been the nominated charity of the the Trust's Chairman for many years, and GBHP began supporting the charity during the first phase of building the Inpatient Ward Block by arranging an annual golf tournament which brought together many of those involved in the Ulster Hospital Project. This annual event has gone from strength to strength with over 60 golfers of all abilities across all the GBHP sites taking part in the most recent tournament.

Colm McKenna (Chairman of South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust) praised GBHP for their work on the Ulster Hospital Project, and in particular for GBHP’s additional ongoing support of Friends of Kiwoko Hospital.  Dr. Roy Harper added that this sum would make a substantial difference to the work of Kiwoko Hospital to be able to help treat and support those most in need.

To date, £10,500 has been raised by GBHP for Friends of Kiwoko Hospital through our annual GBHP Charity Golf Tournaments.
