Anaphylaxis Awareness Week 2019

Anaphylaxis Campaign is a charity supporting people with severe allergies; they are celebrating their 25-year anniversary this year with Anaphylaxis Awareness week 6th-12th May.

The allergy team based at the Ulster Hospital provide diagnosis, education, support and guidance to the children and families attending the allergy service.  They are taking part in this year’s campaign by hosting an information stand in the Ulster Hospital, to inform the wider public on the dangers of food allergies. As people are starting to think about holidays at this time of year they have decided to focus on eating out and travelling with allergies. This campaign is a great opportunity for the team to raise awareness and look good in a silly orange wig!
