Blood Donation

Blood is vital to life and for many people, blood donors are their life-line. Your blood donation could help save the life of an accident victim, a patient with kidney failure, liver disease or burns, a newborn baby, someone undergoing major surgery or a patient living with cancer or severe anaemia.

Modern processing techniques mean that a single blood donation, when separated into its components, can help at least three different patients. Donating Blood is an act of great human kindness.

Organ Donation

Transplants are one of the most miraculous achievements of modern medicine but without donors these life saving operations cannot be conducted.
