Reform and Modernisation - Public Consultation June 2010

The Trust has launched a consultation process on a series of proposals relating to Mental Health Services, Disability Services and Emergency Care, Downe Hospital.  To view a copy of the presentation made to Trust Board on 4 June 2010 click here.

• Safety, Quality and Sustainability – Modernising Health and Social Care Services in the South Eastern Trust

• Mental Health Services: The Future of Hospital Inpatient Care in the South Eastern Trust

• The Proposed Reform and Modernisation of Learning and Physical Disability Services in the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust

• Proposals for a Safe and Sustainable Urgent Care Network in the South Eastern Trust (including a proposal to change the Emergency Department at the Downe Hospital)

The Trust proposes to consult widely over the next three months and bring a proposal to Trust Board in late September 2010.

Consultation meetings have been arranged as follows:

•           Tuesday 15th June 2010, Marine Court Hotel, Bangor

•           Thursday 17th June 2010, Recreation Hall, Lagan Valley Hospital, Lisburn

•           Monday 21st June 2010, Strangford Arms Hotel, Newtownards

•           Wednesday 23rd June 2010, Great Hall, Downshire Hospital, Downpatrick

All meetings will be held from 7.00pm to 8.30pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
