Ulster Hospital Critical Care Complex – Construction Update
Welcome to the Eighth update for the Ulster Hospitals Critical Care Complex where you will find updated images on the preparation works and construction of the building.

The project will comprise the following:
- Ground Floor - Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD)
- First Floor - Theatres and Critical Care
- Second Floor - Theatres and Critical Care support accommodation
- Third Floor – Laboratories
The areas listed below have progressed and many will continue during the forthcoming months.
- Level 1 slab is now complete
- Final pour to level 2 will happen this week
- Areas of level 3 slab have now been poured
- Columns are progressing, level 2 to level 3
- Drainage is now complete
- External walls are progressing to levels 0, 1 and 2
- Internal f/faced block walls are being built to level 1 plant room areas
- Site sign board erected
- Equipment procurement meetings underway
