Ulster Hospital Critical Care Complex – Construction Update
Welcome to the Thirteenth update for the Ulster Hospitals Critical Care Complex where you will find updated images on the preparation works and construction of the building.

The project will comprise the following:
- Ground Floor - Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD)
- First Floor - Theatres and Critical Care
- Second Floor - Theatres and Critical Care support accommodation
- Third Floor – Laboratories
The areas listed below have progressed and many will continue during the forthcoming months.
- Level 4 slab is nearing completion
- Columns/walls are progressing on level 4-5
- Roof steel has now commenced
- Internal f/faced block walls are being built to level 3 plant room
- Head track has been set out and has commenced to level 1 and 2
- Metal stud partitions have commenced to level 1
- Windows are being installed to level 1 and 2
- Rainscreen cladding is progressing to North, East and West elevations
- Cable trays are being installed to level 0
- Fire alarm cabling is proceeding to level 1
