Ulster Hospital Critical Care Complex – Construction Update
Welcome to the Fourteenth update for the Ulster Hospitals Critical Care Complex where you will find updated images on the preparation works and construction of the building.

The project will comprise the following:
- Ground Floor - Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD)
- First Floor - Theatres and Critical Care
- Second Floor - Theatres and Critical Care support accommodation
- Third Floor – Laboratories
The areas listed below have progressed and many will continue during the forthcoming months.
- Level 5 slab is now complete
- Walls are being formed on level 5-6
- Roof steelwork is currently being installed
- Roof covering has now commenced
- Main items of plant have now started to arrive on site
- Internal ductwork is being installed to level 1
- Scaffold has been removed to the lower section on the west elevation
- Rainscreen cladding is progressing to all elevations
- Cable tray and containment is progressing to level 1
