21 November 2007 Ulster Hospital Critical Care Complex – Construction Update Welcome to the third update for the Ulster Hospitals Critical Care Complex where you will find updated images on the preparation works and construction of the building.
The project will comprise the following:
Work is now well under way with the concrete frame which will form the main structure to the new complex.
The areas listed below have progressed and many will continue during the forthcoming months. • Foundations to level 0 are now complete, and areas of floor slab continue to be poured. • Lift shafts 1,2,3+4,5 are progressing in advance of the floors • Sections of retaining wall continue to be poured • Decking and concrete is continuing to level 1 • Drainage is continuing to areas under level 1 and perimeter • Pad foundations are now complete • Columns have progressed between level 1 and level 2. • Areas of level 2 suspended slab continue to be poured • Columns have now commenced from level 2 to level 3 • Final section of site hoarding to Laundry area has now been erected • Completed break through into the existing Hospital For more information on construction work in the Ulster Hospital and the New Downe Hospital please click here. |
