Travelling to the Hospital

Bus Service - There are bus stops immediately outside the hospital gate on either side of the road. All buses with destinations to Newry, Banbridge, Dromore and Sprucefield pass this stop. There is a Busy-Bus service to Hillsborough. Please check bus timetables with Translink before travelling. Timetable information: 028 9066 6630

Rail - The Northern Ireland Railway Station is situated approximately 1 mile from the hospital.

Taxis - A number of taxi companies operate from Lisburn city centre. If you require assistance in ordering a taxi when you are being discharged please speak to a member of nursing staff.

Hospital Facilities

The hospital shop is run by the Guild of ex-patients and Friends of Lagan Valley Hospital. It sells cold drinks, confectionery, cards, toiletries and baby gifts. Profits go to the purchase of specialist equipment for the hospital. It is located on the ground floor near reception.

	2.15pm – 4.30pm
	(Friday 4.00pm)
Monday & Wednesday evenings	7.00pm – 8.30pm

The hospital is situated on the Hillsborough Road and is 0.7 miles (10 mins walk) from the city centre were you can find Restaurants, Chemists and a range of other shops.
