Domiciliary Care Services

“Domiciliary Care Services are committed to working alongside service user’s and their carers/representatives to promote health and well-being in a safe and comfortable home environment; to offer support which reflects assessed need and re-builds self-esteem; to sustain and encourage maintenance of life skills and to encourage involvement with community based activities which reflect the service user’s interests”

Domiciliary Care Services provide home based support for older people or those with disabilities who wish to remain living in their own homes while they are still able to do so safely. Care Workers call to support service users with those aspects of daily living for which an assessment indicates that assistance would be helpful.

Typically, assistance is offered with personal care tasks such as personal hygiene, and dressing as well as with heating meals , prompting medication and checking security There is currently no charge to the service receiver and there are regular opportunities to have assessed needs reviewed to ensure that changing needs are being catered for in the most effective and efficient way possible.
