Ards and Bangor Community Hospitals
The departments provide a plain film Radiology service for patients in the North Down and Ards locality. A Computerised Radiography system has been installed in both departments. A service is offered to outpatients, inpatients, the Minor Injuries Units and patients referred by GPs. Radiographers on both sites are trained to issue provisional reports for the Minor Injuries Units. An official report is then provided by a Consultant Radiologist. |
