CRISIS RESPONSE HOME TREATMENT TEAM The Crisis Response Home Treatment Team will respond to adults, 18 to 65 years old, who are experiencing an acute disruption to their ability to function adequately in the community as a result of severe mental illness such as schizophrenia or severe depressive disorder. The crisis situation should be of such nature and severity that, without intervention, acute psychiatric hospitalisation would be the likely outcome. The Team will not respond to patients whose primary diagnosis is Alcohol or Drug abuse.
