User/Patient Consultation Processes A very co-ordinated and systematic approach to user involvement and consultation has been adopted by the department to ensure that user views are considered. Where possible improvements are made and any outcoming actions are fed back to both staff and users. The Quality Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that issues highlighted using the comment card system are acted upon and a quarterly summary is forwarded to the Quality & Effectiveness Department. Consultation processes Each year several surveys are issued which are aimed at trawling feedback from all users.

Special Interest Teams Special interest teams meet on a quarterly basis in order to brainstorm and implement additional service improvements.
