Patient Confidentiality: The Trust has a duty of care to protect patient confidentiality at all times. Under the Data Protection Act, the Trust will not give out any information about a patient unless we are given permission to do so by the individual or their next of kin or guardian. Condition Checks: ‘Condition Checks’ will only be given out if the Public Relations Manger has obtained the consent of the individual in question or the consent of a relevant family member/guardian. Under no circumstances may interviews, filming, photography or recording media of any kind be used on any of Ulster Community & Hospital Trust facilities without the permission of the Public Relations Manager. If any individual attempts to record on media of any kind without permission from the Trust, that individual will be asked to leave the site immediately.

Major Incidents: Ulster Community & Hospital Trust has a major incident plan which includes arrangements for the media.
